Our Troops

how fortunate we are to have the freedoms we have...
you stay up for 16 hours
He stays up for days on end. End

You take a warm shower to help you wake up.
He goes days or weeks without running water.

You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends.
He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.

You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket. He clutches the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags. End

You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you. He knows he may not see some of his buddies again. End

You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls. He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists. End

You complain about how hot it is. He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow. End

You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong. He doesn't get to eat today. End

Prayer chain for our Military
Don't break it!
Please send this on after a short prayer. Prayer for our soldiers Don't break it! Prayer:
"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen." Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world.
There is nothing attached. Just send this to people in your address book. Do not let it stop with you. Of all the gifts you could give a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, & others deployed in harm's way, prayer is the very best one.
